3. INFORMATION ABOUT PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES

The City Rent a Car d.o.o. Belgrade (Carwiz rent a car) online store, available at www.carwiz.rs, offers its clients vehicle rental under the terms and prices listed on the website.

4. SALES TERMS

The general terms of use and business determine the process of ordering, payment, and complaints about the vehicle rental service offered by City Rent a Car d.o.o. Belgrade (Carwiz rent a car) on the website www.carwiz.rs.
The procedure is defined through the following steps:

4.1. VEHICLE RESERVATION

Before booking a vehicle, it is necessary to read the General Terms of the Vehicle Rental Agreement available at the following link.

To make a reservation for renting a car on the website www.carwiz.rs, you need to go through all the mandatory steps of the reservation process, which include:

Choice of branch and pick-up and return time
Vehicle choice and payment option (pay now or pay later)
Choice of insurance package
Selection of additional equipment and services
Filling in basic driver data (first and last name, e-mail address, phone number)
By confirming the reservation, the customer agrees to the General Terms of the Vehicle Rental Agreement.

After confirming the reservation and choosing to pay the rent immediately, the customer will be redirected to the WSpay website.

4.2. PAYMENT METHOD AND SECURITY

When entering credit card data, confidential information is transmitted over the public network in a protected (encrypted) form using the SSL protocol and the PKI system, as currently the most modern cryptographic technology.

Data security during purchase is guaranteed by the payment card processor. At no time are credit card details available to our system.

4.3. STATEMENT ON CONVERSION

All payments will be effected in Serbian currency – dinar (RSD). The amount your creditcard account will be charged for is obtained through the conversion of the price in Euro into Serbian dinar according to the current exchange rate of the Serbian National Bank.

When charging your credit card, the same amount is converted into your local currency according to the exchange rate of credit card associations. As a result of this conversion there is a possibility of a slight difference from the original price stated in our web site’.

4.4. CONFIRMATION

After paying for the reservation, a confirmation e-mail message will be sent to the e-mail address entered in the last step of the vehicle reservation.

4.5. CHANGING THE RESERVATION

The customer can change the reservation directly on the www.carwiz.rs page via the "Change reservation" link, by e-mail at reservations@carwiz.rs or by phone at +381 11 735 7615.

Changing the reservation is free, but changes can affect the final rental price.

4.6. CANCELING THE RESERVATION

The customer can cancel the reservation in the following ways:

4.7. CANCELLATION POLICY

The reservation can be canceled at any time before the planned date of vehicle pick-up WITHOUT CHARGE.

4.8. REFUNDS IN CASE OF CANCELING THE RESERVATION

In case of canceling a reservation with the right to a refund, the refund will be made no later than 14 days from the day of canceling the reservation.

In case of returning goods and refunding money to the customer who previously paid with one of the payment cards, partially or in full, regardless of the reason for the return, City Rent a Car D.O.O. Belgrade is obliged to make the refund exclusively through VISA, EC/MC, and Maestro payment methods, which means that the bank will, at the request of the seller, make a refund to the card user's account.

4.9 VAT included in the price, and there are no hidden costs.

5. Complaints and objections

In accordance with Article 10 of the Consumer Protection Act (Official Gazette no. 41/14), we inform consumers that they can express their dissatisfaction with the purchased product or service by submitting a written complaint in our business premises, and we will confirm the receipt of the complaint in written form without delay. The seller undertakes to respond in writing to the remarks within 15 days from the day of receiving the complaint.

6. WAY OF PROTECTING CONFIDENTIAL DATA

City Rent a Car d.o.o. Belgrade (Carwiz rent a car) commits to protect the personal data of customers, by collecting only the necessary, basic data about customers/users that are necessary to fulfill our obligations; informing customers about the way the collected data is used, regularly giving customers a choice about the use of their data, including the possibility to decide whether they want their name to be removed from the lists used for marketing campaigns or not.
All user data is strictly kept and available only to employees to whom this data is necessary for doing their job.

All employees of City Rent a Car d.o.o. Belgrade and business partners are responsible for respecting privacy protection principles.

7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

All disputes arising from the interpretation, application, or execution of these Terms can be referred for mediation before one of the mediation organizations in the Republic of Serbia.
In case that, despite efforts to resolve the dispute amicably, no peaceful dispute resolution is reached, the jurisdiction of the court in Belgrade and the application of Serbian law are agreed upon.

8. FINAL PROVISIONS

City Rent a Car d.o.o. Belgrade (Carwiz rent a car) will publish and make available all changes and additions to these General Terms of Use and Business in the manner provided by law.

These General Terms of Use and Business come into force and apply from October 11, 2023.
